What to include

  • Web Paperize version, such as 0.2.2.
  • Your exact Chrome version and operating system.
  • The export scope: whole page, picked element, text selection, or ChatGPT complete conversation.
  • The output mode: Auto, Paperized, or Original; plus paper size, orientation, margins, and whether one continuous page was enabled.
  • A short sequence of steps that reproduces the problem.
  • The result you expected and the result you received.
  • The page URL when it is safe and publicly accessible. Do not send login credentials, access tokens, private conversation links, or confidential documents.
  • A screenshot or sample PDF only after removing information you do not want to disclose.

Content you voluntarily attach to an email is a disclosure you control; the extension does not send support data automatically.

Quick checks

  1. Confirm you are using Chrome 118 or later.
  2. Try the same page in Original mode if Paperized mode omits a non-article layout.
  3. If Auto chooses Original, the page may not contain a sufficiently reliable main-reading-content candidate.
  4. For a ChatGPT complete-conversation export, confirm you are signed in and the conversation is open.
  5. If one continuous page falls back to A4, the page exceeded Chromium's safe PDF height.

Known limitations

  • Chrome internal pages and Chrome Web Store pages cannot be exported.
  • Text selection inside an iframe is not currently supported.
  • Complete ChatGPT export requires an existing login session and an open conversation.
  • Chrome displays its standard debugging notification while the PDF renderer is attached to the active tab.
  • One continuous page is capped at Chromium's safe PDF height; oversized output falls back to paginated A4.
  • Some sites may defer protected or cross-origin media in ways Chrome cannot include in a PDF.
